The Diva is also taking time off, for the children and the summer. Once again she has thoughtfully left us with a challenge and plans for next few weeks. I look forward to seeing what is planned. In the meantime the challenge this week is a Monotangle of Tipple. The sun and it's rays have seeped into my tile (even if it is drawn in black lol)

Summer 2
Summer is well and truly in, and is filtering it's way into more of this week's challenges. Kristinne is off to celebrate her anniversary so I hope it is a warm night for her. In spite of the celebrations she has posted her second challenge which is 'Let it B' The focus, of course, is the letter B - three to five tangles beginning with B. I chose Beads, Bunzo, BB's, and Betweed.

My dear friend, your work is amazing! I do not know why you said on the challenge post that you struggle with this, because you have a very steady hand, but the tangles just flow on the tile. I have to admit I envy you a little bit :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tiles! I don't know about Kristinne's challenge, so will be having a look out for that one. Great tipple monotangle. Axxx
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a new challenge Kristinne just started to host last week. I am sure she would be thrilled if you, or anyone else, had the time to enter it. Many thanks for your kind words about my tiles.
DeleteI think that contrast of the white and black add a whimsical flavor to this lovely tile!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the sun's rays for Tipple. Such a happy tangle!
ReplyDeleteReal summer Tipple!!!
ReplyDeleteNice idea, a Tipple sun!
ReplyDeletePerfect summer composition (at least it's summer here in the northern hemisphere. After all, people are tangling the world over.)
ReplyDeleteLovely idea using rays of sun and the contrast and shape! Sarah.
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely! Especially I like your Tipple-sun!
ReplyDeletetwo beautiful tiles
ReplyDeletethat B tile is pretty fun...BB has always reminded me of books...which also starts with B...and you did it in a B shape. And the way you fit the other B tangles in....but that Tipple tile. It's delightful. Looks like an octopus all full of bubbles and surrounded by them.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words. Yes when I had finished the BB's I thought it looked like books too :-)
DeleteLove the play on light and dark! Striking!
ReplyDeleteI also just linked up to the 'let it B' 'mmmMondays challenge too. Yours is great! You have a nice form and all the tangles work together nicely. Give yourself a pat on the back my friend! Sarah.
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like your sommer-sun-tipple-tile :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd your "B"-tile is very creative, good work!
I love your "B" tile - so cute! Your Tipple tile for the Diva Challenge has such dynamic contrast. Actually, it looks like night and day! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLike the contrast in your Tipple tile.
ReplyDeleteYour Tipple is lovely!! :)
