My First Diva Challenge!

#221 - Beads of Courage.

This is my first entry for The Diva Challenge. I kept it simple because I only came across this art form a fortnight ago. There are some amazing tangles out there :-) I am not happy with the bottom blocked area, the tangle pattern might have looked better drawn vertically. I might try it again, but then 'no mistakes', I expect I can live with it :-)

    1. Thank you for taking the time to comment Margeret. What a coincidence that we are from the same county. I was born an East Riding Tyke :-) I am looking forward to learning more about this great artform.

    1. What wonderful welcomes from everyone, it already feels such a friendly community.

Wow, more challenges, I didn't realise there were more. It is a wonderful idea. I will take a look and see if I might be capable of entering.

    2. Oh, you bet! Try Suzy Mosh's "That's New To Me". Since you're so new, almost ALL the tangles will be new for you!

  5. Holy cow, you are wonderful for such a new tangler! I bet you get totally hooked! The Diva challenges and others out there are such a good way to grow and expand your Zentangle experience. See them as a focus, a personal challenge, and a guide to your experience. Never regard them as competition. Welcome to the Zentangle community!

    1. Thank you Antonine, yes I really am hooked. I did try the 'That's New To Me' and every tangle I used was new to me:-) I am using the challanges as a learning tool because afterwards I look and see how everyone else has interpreted it. Whilst I can't yet aspire to a lot of what they did it does give me pointers for the future.
