Valentangles.

I want to start by thanking everyone for visiting my blog and leaving comments. It is such fun to feel part of a community and I have learnt so much from you all.

As we are coming up to the day of love, this post is dedicated especially to all those tanglers who post their tiles on Pinterest, Flickr, Facebook, Instagram and Wordpress, to whom I cannot leave comments. I always visit everyone and please never think I don't enjoy your entries, but I can't comment unless I have an account or various other reasons. Sometimes there is a little heart that I can click, I like those :-) I do understand that not everyone wants to blog, they simply want to enter their tile in the challenge. So as a thank you for all your comments, especially non-bloggers who leave a comment on my blog regardless, and to say I do visit and I love your art, I have created a special love tile for each of you, which - as it happens - fits in beautifully with the Diva's Valentangle Challenge this week.

Flickr. I simply do not have an account for Flickr and cannot see how to comment without. I  have seen some wonderful ZIA and Zentangle® On Flickr. This tile is an F made of Helen Williams's new half hearts tangle with Molygon 'flickring' around it.
Instagram. Once again Istagram plays host to some wonderful tiles. The tile I have drawn contains an I with a Jettie heart top and it is surrounded by tangle patterns beginning with I.
Pinterest. This keeps telling me it is better in the mobile app. and I do not wish to get the app, however I get to see some wonderful art, usually in the little sample square at the top. Here is a P with Pokeroot around a heart hole on top of a Pinch background for you.
Facebook. Now I do have a Facebook account, but go in as little as possible, keeping it for family only and as the account is in a different name you wouldn't know I had visited. Here for you I have done a Zentangle Little Person with a Face below a head of love heart hair. All the tangles begin with F.
Wordpress. This can be temperamental with me. Sometimes it lets me comment, and sometimes it kicks me off  :-( I can't seem to see why it doesn't like me, perhaps it is to do with different settings. Anyway especially for you I created a tile using tangle pattern Vermal around the letters W.O.R.D. with a heart shaped O.

  1. I am the same way. Don't have accounts everywhere, and the only facebook account I have is under my dogs name and I only used it a few years ago because of a reunion. Great tribute valentangles, and such a fun take on this challenge.

  2. What a lovely idea! I, too, visit every single entry, and would sometimes love to comment on some of the posts, but have more than enough Social Media sites to my name, and do not wish to gain more!

  4. Valentines for social media platforms---definitely a unique take on this week's challenge, but obviously a great way for you to have produced some lovely tiles. My blog, Boomeresque, is a fairly serious undertaking and I've internalized the message that blogs require a presence on social media, so I am much more engaged on various social media platforms than many old friends would imagine I would be given my life-long reputation as a somewhat reserved person. Although I admit there are days when keeping up with social media seems like a chore, I've actually made virtual friends on line who turned into friends in real life.

  5. I quite enjoyed your take on this challenge! I also don't have accounts all over the place. Have avoided Twitter thus far and can't seem to comment on many WordPress accounts. Well done!

  6. How sweet of you to send some love to everyone. I have many accounts, but sometimes, I can't find how to leave a message. Sometimes the ones from other countries, well, I don't know what they want. Lovely work!

And now that I know that Wordpress is mean to you, I appreciate your comments to my blog even more. Thank you for hanging in there. :-) Have a great week!

  13. Oh, this is such a sweet post! I love all your "letter" tiles. The i for instagram...that letter i reminds me of a totem pole or something.. Like an icon to love. And the last one is simply stunning. All the repeated lines are so delightful to look at. Good work.

  19. I also visit each and every post but am unable to leave comments on all. Like many, life is so busy I don't want to join all the different social networking sites & have limited myself to just a few. Thank you so much for your wonderful challenge idea. It is certainly an idea out of the box. Very creative!

  21. I completely understand about not wanting to join all these different social media groups. I would rather tangle. Which is exactly what you did. These tiles are beautiful and they leave all of us with a great feeling of love. I'm on Flickr and that works for me. At least people can see my tiles and it does show how many people show up to take a look. Thank you for sharing these wonderful tiles with us.

  22. You are so thoughtful and kind! Brilliant idea to show your love to all our fellow enthusiasts. I, too, am often frustrated that I can't always reciprocate by leaving an appreciative comment. You have expressed this so beautifully! Thank you!

  23. This is such a lovely and caring idea - it really touches me! This encourages me to take more time to comment, there are times that I am so busy that I am happy not being on computers, but actually 10 Minutes a day can be enough to appreciate some others work. Thank you!
